Our Story

15+ Years of Precision Metal Fabrication in London

Founded in East London, Forgeworth Steel & Fabrication has grown from a small structural steel workshop into a full-service metal fabrication and engineering company trusted by contractors, architects, developers and commercial clients across the capital.

We specialise in structural steel, stainless steel, aluminium and bespoke architectural metalwork — supported by an in-house design and engineering team that takes projects from initial concept through to on-site installation.

Our commitment to quality, reliable project delivery and rigorous health & safety standards has made us a long-term fabrication partner for businesses throughout London and the surrounding areas.

From a single workshop to one of East London’s established fabrication and engineering companies.

2009

Company Founded

Forgeworth Steel opened a small workshop in East London focused on structural steel repairs and welding contracts.

2013

Stainless & Aluminium Division

Expanded capability into stainless steel and aluminium fabrication to serve food, retail and architectural clients.

2016

New 15,000 sq ft Workshop

Relocated to a larger fabrication facility with CNC plasma cutting and an in-house powder coating line.

2019

Commercial & Industrial Contracts

Secured long-term framework agreements with London contractors for industrial platforms and guarding.

2022

Design & Engineering Team

Built an in-house design and engineering department to offer full drawing-to-installation packages.

A Team of Craftsmen & Engineers

Our fabricators, welders and engineers bring decades of combined experience to every project. Many of our senior team members have been with the company for over ten years, giving clients continuity and consistent quality across repeat contracts.

All welding staff hold current coded qualifications, and our design engineers work in the latest CAD software to produce fabrication-ready drawings before a single piece of steel is cut.

Health & Safety

Health and safety is embedded in everything we do, from workshop practice to site installation. We operate under full CDM 2015 compliance, provide RAMS documentation for every project and hold CHAS and SafeContractor accreditation. Our team receive ongoing training in safe fabrication, manual handling and working at height.

Serving London & Surrounding Areas

From our East London workshop we deliver metal fabrication and installation services across all London boroughs, including the City, Canary Wharf, Central London, and the wider Home Counties. Our fleet and installation teams are equipped for both small bespoke commissions and large-scale structural contracts.
